Kuala Lumpur, you humid, concrete labyrinth. A home to people and dreams that wash away and return in equal measure. This list will be a collection of places I’ve been and hope to go to. Good luck and message me if you’re in town.

General Advice:

• Local simcards are quite affordable, get them at the airport
• Download Grab, an uber equivalent that will get you around
• Public transport exists but you’ll have to mix and match with Grab
• When it rains it rains super heavily, be prepared
• Malaysia is fairly conservative by western standards, be respectful

Getting to and from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA):

• The easiest way is with the KLIA express, a thirty-ish minute ride from the airport to KL Sentral
• You can Grab from the airport too but it’s a bit annoying and not worth it, imo
